Diogo Netto is a professional Yoga Teacher, Swim Teacher and Water Polo Coach. With over 13 years experience across his disciplines, Diogo strives to transform the lives of his clients through his teachings of wellness, health & lifestyle, education through fitness, sports and living a balanced whole life.

First learning the practice of yoga in 2001 to assist his surfing, Diogo quickly discovered the healing properties of yoga beyond flexibility, balance and concentration.

In 2005 Diogo completed his first Yoga teacher training specializing in Power Yoga. He has since expanded his training into Vipassana and Mindfulness Meditation, Yoga Anatomy & Physiology and immersed himself in the Satyananda Yoga Ashram in Australia to learn, live and practise Yoga in the traditional spiritual way.

A passionate surfer and swimmer since his childhood, Diogo quickly adopted what would become one of his greatest passions at the age of 12: Water Polo. Gaining many accolades over the last 20 years, Diogo has been awarded Gold Medals the U18 Brazilian National Titles and Sao Paulo University Games; Bronze in Sydney World Masters Games and Gold in NSW State Championships. During his tenure as a Water Polo Coach at the University of NSW, Diogo has taken his U14 team to the Australian National Titles where they won Gold in 2013 and gold in the NSW State Championships in 2014.

An active member of Bronte Surf Life Saving Club since 2008, Diogo has completed the Bronze and Silver Medallion, as well as volunteering in Water Safety with a strong focus on kid’s development through the Nippers education program.

No stranger to the discipline and training involved in both team and individual sport, Diogo is particularly passionate about working with kids and teenagers to develop life skills through sports, health and physical education.

With a Bachelor in Business Management, Diogo has since started a school holiday adventures program in the outdoor recreational industry, where he shares his leanings as a professional Sports Coach, Yoga Teacher and Surf Awareness Teacher. Diogo believes in living life through health & wellness and prides himself on developing personal growth through sports, body-mind awareness and connection with nature.
